1. Filtration Process
Filtration happens under pressure in a downward flow, providing effective removal of contaminants and the supply of clean, safe water.
2. Backwashing
A brief backwash loosens the filtration media and prepares it for deep cleaning through the SIPHON WASHING process.
3. Siphon Washing
The filtration media is cleaned using buoyancy and the rotational movement of sand particles, lifting the media from bottom to top and removing built-up contaminants.
4. Final Backwashing
The final rinse removes residual sludge and used water, preparing the filtration media for further use.

How SIPHON WASHING Works
SIPHON WASHING is based on the principle of cleaning filtration sand through controlled agitation and friction between sand particles. This process keeps the filtration media constantly clean and guarantees stable filtration.
Carefully selected sand particles with an effective size (ES) of 0.6 mm, high in uniformity and abrasion resistance, combined with high-performance Zebra Layer anthracite, provide up to 2.7 times higher filtration efficiency than conventional sand filters, leading to significant cost savings.
